Things learned on the job
Following people’s instructions can get frustrating because seeing their point of view can be hard. And my ethics can be different to others.
Giving advice to a manager I found was not a good idea as they have always said to me: “Are you trying to tell me how to run my business?”
I needed to learn that when you work for a business you have to follow their rules and regulations.
When you know that something is wrong at work you always want to focus on it and analyse it until it gets fixed or dealt with. It can be hard for me to keep work at work and not take it home.
One way that I have found to deal with it was to write it down on paper and make a plan for the next day on how to fix it. I guess that’s what we call project managing as well as time management.
For the time being I am now focusing on my social rules still and working with people who can help me and understand what I can do.
