Finding a career in the kitchen
I did Food Tech at school and that class seemed to make me very happy. Then in years 11 and 12 I did Hospitality and loved it.
My brain gets mashed when I am under stress but it still seems to work well when I am in the kitchen.
I expected to like all cooking but I didn’t like being in a huge kitchen and for example working with meat.
But I fell in love with pastry. Pastry is a very small and specific area in hospitality and it’s hard to find a job in that area but I have one now.
