Welcome to this first section of our website where we have collected the most vital information that you really do need to know.

We suggest that you read through all the topics in this Start here section before moving onto other section.

This section contains information on some of the most important resources and options available.

This section also has advice on how to develop a plan that fits well with your interests and abilities.

For those living in NSW we have provided  detailed information about your local services and  links to specific organisations and service providers.

For those living outside of NSW, we have provided links to further information. You can also contact your state Autism Association to find out more about local services and options.

Having said that, the majority of the information on the website will be just as relevant to you as for those living in NSW.

How to use this website

Notice the two green tabs on the top of the page. Click on the Young people tab in each section of the website.

Your parents can click on the  Parents tab.

The information is fairly similar, but presented differently to suit your differing needs.

On the right hand side of each page is a link to Our Stories. In this section we have gathered personal stories from young people living with autism and their families.

It's easy to feel a little overwhelmed when you are faced with lots of changes, however these stories will show you that there are many others who have felt just as you do.

The personal stories are also great examples of what's possible when you take advantage of the supports that are on offer.
