The Department of Social Services runs a very useful Disability Advocacy Finder.
So if you feel that you’d benefit from having an advocate then you can start searching for one on this site.
We have written articles here about appealing NDIS decisions here. and here as well.
There is now an NDIS appeals tab on the Disability Advocacy Finder.
You can use this tab to find the best NDIS appeals advocate in your local area.
The Finder is simple to use, you just enter the area you live in and are taken to a page with a list of local advocate organisations plus a map.
You can then use the tab on the left side to search for exactly the type of advocacy you need.
If you have used an advocacy service in the past, we would be keen to hear from you about how the advocacy helped your family.
